Requirements

Some of the mandatory requirements to become a Family Relations Law Specialist are:

• The attorney must be licensed in Ohio
• The attorney must show active involvement in family law practice
• The attorney must provide at least seven references from other family law attorneys or sitting judges
• The attorney must complete and pass a complex examination on the subject of family law
• Other requirements as determined by the Ohio State Bar Association

Meet Attorney Bill Biviano

Bill Biviano is a 34-year veteran of his divorce and matrimonial law practice. After graduating from the Capital University Law School in Columbus, he started practicing family and matrimonial law. He is the founder of Biviano Law Firm.

Besides being a Board Certified Family Law Relations Specialist, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer for the years 2003 through 2008, and is currently listed in Best Lawyers in America.
